On Tuesday, Demi Lovato's cover for Complex magazine broke, and in her interview, she made a point of saying that she and Selena Gomez are most decidedly not on speaking terms.
But just two weeks ago, the duo took a photo together for the first time in a year and posted it to Instagram with the caption, "Look at how #coolforthesummer we are.. Friends for years, #sameoldlove" leading everyone to think that years after their very public falling-out, maybe they had patched things up and their friendship was on the mend. So, does the Complex interview mean something has changed?
No. Demi took to Twitter to clarify, saying, "Interviews are done months and months before the issue is published. I [sic] lot can change between then and now. Don't read into the bullshit."
